Since 1976Fifty years in Leicester, built on keeping manufacture, print and finishing in one place — so the people who buy fabric from us always know exactly where it came from.
Fashion Fabrics Group has operated from Thurmaston, Leicester since 1976, expanding year on year to keep pace with the demands of the fashion industry. What started as a single operation has grown into two connected businesses working side by side: Fashion Fabric Transprinters Ltd, handling manufacture, digital printing and sourcing, and Midland Screenprinters Ltd, handling screen, transfer and foil printing.
Because manufacture, printing and finishing sit in the same buildings, there's no waiting on a third-party supplier between stages — which is what keeps lead times short when a retail buyer or designer needs an answer quickly.
A fabric's whole journey, from base cloth through to finished, printed metre, happens somewhere we can show you. That's the accountability behind our approach to supplier responsibility.
